Nationals 2011

 Thanks to everyone who came along to Nationals this weekend, especially all the staff who put in so much time and effort. The final results are as follows :

If you go to the Results pages and follow the Score links, you will find detailed game information like score and assist statistics and a points graph. The videos from the weekend will be added to a youtube.com channel soon. Watch this space!

Live streaming

 This weekend the UK Ultimate Nationals will be streaming six games live over the internet via our livestream channel. If you can't wait to get the results of those games delivered to your phone then make sure you are all setup to watch the games. You can watch the streams either via the app inside our facebook page, an Apple or mobile device, or via the livestream channel itself. The games we will be streaming are :

You can keep an eye on who those teams will be during the weekend via the online Open and Women's draw which will update automatically as the weekend goes on. 

SMS Notifications

 This year are trailing a new SMS service that will alert any players, spectators or anyone else interested in the games. Now that we have all the teams and schedule defined ( Open & Womens ), all you need to do is sign up with this site and identify the teams or games you are interested in hearing about via your user profile. Once signed up, all the notifications about that team or game will be sent direct to your phone so you can always keep in touch with whats going on. 

Lookfly @ Nationals 2011

 Once again we are delighted that Lookfly will be supporting the UKU Nationals 2011. Along with their crazy Summer Sale, they'll be back to show off their 100% recycled NewLife kit and sublimation process. Look at for it at Nationals and don't forget to do your bit by recycling your plastic bottles in their recycling bins. 

Catering at this years Nationals.

 Catering plays a big part on a tournament. Its what gives you energy and if its not avaiable when you want it, and the food you want then you'll suffer. Catering can be from canteens and burger vans that don't understand sport and is not what you want. Thats why this year we've been working with a local professional chef to provide you with the kind of catering that you want, and that you'll need when you are playing at Nationals level. Regionals

Congratulations to the 16 open teams who qualified for Nationals at the regional qualification tournaments last weekend. A full list of finishing positions from each event and the teams that have qualified can be found here along with the seedings for the open division. 

GAIA become the first official partner for UKU Nationals 2011

 We are pleased to announce that GAIA are supporting us for the second year in a row as an official partner and event sponsor of the UKU Nationals 2011. UKU Nationals 2011 tournament entry is now open.

As of this week, from Monday 4th July, the registration process for the UK Ultimate Nationals 2011 is now open. Any team wishing to enter the tournament must complete an online registration form, and their entry will be reserved after receipt of the tournament entry costs. Any team who has registered and paid for tournament entry but failed to qualify will get a full refund. 

The team at ukunationals.org has been working hard to make sure that this tournament is an amazing event so don't miss an opportunity to take part in this fantastic event.

Video update: Most of the streams from the weekend are up at www.livestream.com/ukunationals but unfortunately the rain caused sparky havoc during the women's final. Hopefully we will recover most of that and upload it in the next couple of days. (There are tapes of the games which were unaffected by the weather, so a PushPass DVD should follow in due course.)
